The lower towing eye mounting bracket is a common failure point on the gen 1 Vanquish.
We have seen these corrode to nothing, and when an attempt is made to tow the vehicle, the towing bracket exits promptly through a new hole in the front bumper and carbon structure!
This is a difficult part to see and often a borescope is required to inspect.
We have copied the original design but have manufactured these in stainless steel instead of mild steel.
This part is both riveted and bonded to the carbon fibre crash structure. It also requires the removal of the rad pack and front bumper to access properly.
This part is fabricated in house to order. We stock all machined components.
