Gen 1 Vanquish PTEC repair| Aston Spares

All Aston V12 engine cars utilise 2 computers to run the engine. On Gen 1 Vanquish these modules are called PTECs (Power Train Electronic Control).

Most PTEC failures present as only six cylinders of the V12 running. Codes P1585 and P1233 will be the OBDII error codes.  In some cases the car may only generate the fault in colder temperatures and the car will work correctly when warmer. However, the problem is physical and tends to get progressively worse over time.

We will need your faulty PTEC, shipping to us with full correspondence address inside of the package.

Once repaired we will bench test the module to confirm the repair and ship back to you. This will usually take approximately 3-4 weeks.
